Project Rotterdam is providing this new generation with the opportunity to increase their exposure with new installations and interventions in the museum. Daisy Kroon, for example, has designed the ideal pair of trousers for Rotterdam man. Wouter Venema’s work is like a map with multiple perspectives, and Johannes Langkamp uses his installation to focus on the difference between the human eye and the camera lens. Bertjan Pot’s contribution to the exhibition is a colourful installation centred on his latest design discovery. By presenting the multifaceted output of these makers together, the museum is reflecting artistic trends in today’s Rotterdam. At the same time the project gives these artists and designers an opportunity to show their work to a national and international public.
